Having the greatest scrapbooking tools can't alone make you a great scrapbooker

    By Christine at 02/16/09 13:35

Let's face it folks, some of us are just not as creative as others. I am having trouble with my ability to sit down and come with a great scrapbook page, even though I would definitely say I do have creativity in my bones.

I mean to tell you, I have every scrapbook gadget known. I have scrapbooks, I have sheet protectors, I have great background paper, great pictures, colorful paper for squares and shapes, pretty ribbon, brads, stickers out the wazoo, and still.....I cannot sit down and put all the elements together into one spiffy page!  Arrr it is so frustrating!

Create a beautiful masterpiece with the art of quilling

    By Charlene at 02/12/09 09:32

Want to create a work of art with just paper and glue? The art of quilling, or sometimes known as paper filigree, is a craft that allows you to create patterns just by rolling, pinching and bending paper and then using those pieces to create a design.

I just can't seem to organize my scrapbook supplies

    By Rachel at 02/09/09 15:23

No matter how hard I try, I just can't find the right balance of organization for my scrapbook supplies. I have small bins, I have storage envelopes, I have a literatur organizer for the paper, you name it, I have it.

Yet, I still have piles of stuff laying all over my crafting table that I use over and over. I just can't seem to organize the top of my desk so that when people walk in the room, they see a nice work area.

I have punches, and the resulting little punches of paper (whatever you call those things that are created when you punch paper with a die) everywhere, along with brads, scraps of paper, ribbon, calligraphy markers....you get the picture.

What is a crafter to do?
